Erin Williams
Southern California native Erin Williams is a cocktail veteran who began her career 12 years ago in the dining rooms of notable white tablecloth restaurants and upscale Hollywood lounges. It was here that Erin’s love of wine and spirits blossomed, and she armed herself with every bit of knowledge she could find. The experience of working at high profile Hollywood venues, events and movie premieres fueled her passion and, in 2005, Erin made her way to New York City where she continued to pursue her growing interest in wines and spirits. It was in New York that Erin honed her skills at renowned cocktail lounges such as The Pegu Club, where for 3 years she mastered her trade in what she playfully calls “Cocktail Bootcamp”. At the Pegu Club, Erin worked closely alongside award-winning mixologist Audrey Saunders, as well as many talented up-and-coming talents in the world of mixology.
Erin has won prestigious cocktail competitions, one of which was the 2007 Finlandia Vodka Cup where she was regional champion. Erin’s creation of the Veiled Lady Cocktail enabled her to best 23 of New York's top bartenders to win this honorable title. In addition, Erin placed 3rd in the USBG International Bartender competition for the NYC regional division.
In July of 2008, Erin was selected to represent Cointreau as their Brand Ambassador and Mixologist.
Erin has had the privilege of working with notable personalities such as Dale Degroff, Tony Abou Ganim and Paul Pacult. An expert in her field, Erin appears frequently on Martha Stewart Living Radio Everyday Food, and has been the guest host of Martha Stewart Living Radio’s Friday Mixology hour, often filling in for Master Mixologist Allen Katz. Erin has been recognized in the media as one of New York’s forerunners in mixology talent, and has been profiled in publications such as Time Out, NY magazine, Bartender Magazine, Bar Business Magazine, Beverage Media Magazine, Nightclub and Bar Magazine, and the NY Post, among others.
Continually seeking out new and exciting ways to transform the old into the new, Erin’s expertise with cocktails is growing everyday. Obsessed with fresh ingredients, as most mixologists are, she has started a comprehensive and flourishing herb garden from which she draws much inspiration. When she is not out spreading the good word of bartending and cocktails, you can find her hanging out in her garden with her dogs and her fiancée Bek.
Bek Allen
From her teen years Bek Allen has been involved in the hospitality industry; she got her start in event facilitation at 16 and fell in love with the rush that comes along with creating unique and exciting environments for events and being the person behind the scenes making it all happen. While living in Chicago she began planning launch parties, art exhibitions, and live music shows. In 2006, she moved to New York to co-own and run a bakery in the Catskills. While she enjoyed the culinary aspect, she found herself drawn to a new endeavor, the craft of cocktails. Having been introduced to the excitement, creativity and class that is displayed in serving a cocktail, she realized this was to be her career. She has worked at The Pegu Club and Fort Defiance in NYC and hopes to have the opportunity to make your next event a very special one.
